28 June 2026

Last night was one of those nights we'll remember for a long time. After months of writing, recording, editing, remixing, changing our minds, changing them back again, and more late nights than we'd care to admit...

Rebel's Song finally went live!

If we're honest, it nearly didn't. Apple Music rejected the release because our record label and our band shared the same name. We spent a couple of days scratching our heads, talking to our distributor, weighing up every option and wondering whether we'd have to rebuild everything from scratch.

In the end, we made a decision. Rather than hold the album back for weeks (or even months), we released it everywhere else. Sometimes you stop fighting the roadblock......and simply drive around it.

For an independent label, getting music out into the world is rarely glamorous. It's forms, metadata, artwork specifications, copyright, mastering, distribution rules, and the occasional moment where you stare at a screen wondering if you've accidentally broken the internet. But then...You refresh the page. And your album is there. That moment makes every setback worth it.

This is only the beginning. While Rebel's Song is finding its feet, we're already back in Grandma's garage putting the finishing touches on Origin—an album that's incredibly close to our hearts. If Rebel's Song is the battle cry... Origin is the story of why we started fighting in the first place. We're also rebuilding the website, adding teasers, writing blogs like this one, and trying to make this place feel less like a record label and more like what it's always been...Home.

To everyone who's followed us, shared a post, listened to a teaser, or simply stopped by to see what we're building...Thank you.

Seriously. You're helping prove that ordinary people with impossible dreams can still build something extraordinary.

See you back in the garage.— The False King's Music Family
